1. STRENGTHENING FORENSIC CAPACITY OF TURKEY:
With this Project; modern laboratories
in line with EU
standards are being established in 4 provinces.
3 of them(Adana, Diyarbakır and İzmir) are connected to the Head of Department of Criminal Police Laboratories and 1 of them
(İstanbul) is connected to the Head of Gendarmerie Criminal Department.
2. IMPROVING THE SKILLS OF FORENSIC EXPERTS:
The Project purpose
is to improve the capacity of the forensic experts in the Council
of Forensic Medicine, Criminal Laboratories of
Police and Gerdarmerie by
training and to
bring the forensic
analysis methods in line with the EU
B) TÜBİTAK PROJECTS
purpose of this system is to collect the images of ballistic evidences (arms,
shell casings and bullets, etc.)
obtained from crimes occurred in Turkey in a central database and to
compare the findings in the centralized database and thereby to create a
faster and more reliable structure for solving the events.
2.LEARNING ORGANIZATION CONFIGURATION BASED ON
ELECTRONIC PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT FOR CRIMINAL LABORATORY SERVICES
system is allows to ensure establishment of certain standard for branches and
to make the services in the organization more effectively and efficiently.
3.THE DEVELOPMENT OF FINGERPRINT POWDERS USED DURING
CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION
In this Project, it is aimed to product materials (dust,
brush, spray and foils etc.) used to detect fingerprints with purely domestic
opportunities and to minimize the hazardous effects of these materials to
people and crime scenes.
4. IMAGE ENHANCEMENT
AND REPAIR ( IYON)
this project it is aimed to meet the need of software tools for improving and
repairing the images from the records.
5. SuBCoP (Suicide Bomber Counteraction
this project it is aimed to develop methods for the prevention of suicide
bombings or for decreasing the effects of explosion
6.HYPERION (Hyper Spectral
Imaging IED And Explosive Reconnaissance System)
this project it is aimed to produce a device detecting the type of explosive
substance before or after the explosion from the targeted distance.
